Oh how quick the years have gone by , I was at the 50th Anniversary at Wigram and they even painted a Skyhawk for the occasion , a TA-4 in a Golden scheme , today we have no Skyhawk nor do we have an airforce base in Christchurch .. now i wonder what they will paint up this time .

For a Diamond Jubilee they should re-equip with this:

Ive heard rumours that there will be a significant overseas participation at Ohakea..so that would at least mean RAAF F-18s (F & A) and hopefully USAF aircraft of some sort (F-15s, F-16s & F-22s!!?)

Alister , Magazine , One that disappeared - left at an old work place , one had borrowed it and not returned , I had the Golden A4 completed for the RAZBAM only to loose it when frying a couple PCs when at work , workmen digging the road hit a power source spiking the street .. Thanks Kevin Blair contractors , this is easy dated from the screen due to a MP test using FSX & FS9 combined , i have found the near complete 1986/87 Golden Hawk and the RAZBAM dose work in FSX .

I have that 50th Air Show booklet ..I should scan it and post it here.

I wouldnt be surprised that Singapore would send something, based on past airshows where they have had a Herc...I also keep hearing rumours about the RSAF basing F-16s here so maybe a F-16 or two?

I have heard that F-22 Raptors are coming to the 75th Air Show......I have yet to see confirmation but that would be amazing if it was true!

I also heard that little rumour, but I also heard there is an F-35 in the neighbourhood round then...

Heres the list of aircraft so far....no F-22 but F-18s, C-17s, just about every WW2 warbird in NZ and some interesting stuff like a Beech Texan. I have my doubts about a F-35 as they haven't been displayed anywhere yet as far as I know let alone NZ....anyway the F-18s are probably enough to get me there....plus the Hunter and Avenger

The dude at the Masterton airshow stand at Tauranga reckoned there is an F-35 demo flight headed to OZ to convince the pollies it is a good buy.
Doesn't sound unreasonable...

I also heard about the F-22 appearance rumour, apparently it said so in the Air Force News Magazine.. I cant take a look as I haven't received mine yet.. The aircraft line up is quite impressive though. I have my flights and accommodation booked (So hopefully its not rained out :/ ) tongue.gif
