Was a great day today at Omaka as the Yak 3 fired into life for the first time.
The engine was run twice and the testing was flawless, which is a great testiment to the work of JEM aviation.
It is always a great experience to see an engine fired up in a restoration project for the first time.
It sounded wonderful :-)

Arthur still has his Yak 3 in town so we are a bit spoilt at the moment.
