RNZAF P3 Orion in invercargill with problems

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Thought this would be of interest to some here, the Orion came down earlier this week and did a run down SE of Stewart Island for a day then next morning had to stay put due to technical issues. A C130 came down and must have dropped off parts today so I went down to take a pic of it if it was still there but got something more interesting.

They went out and did run ups today so have obviously got some work done. Im quite sure it hasn't departed yet but I heard it out doing run ups again about 2 hours after the first ones.
