Anyone know if it'll be at the Ohakea airshow in March as well, or just the Tauranga one?

The two seat Spitfire, Kittyhawk, Mustang and DC-3 were all flying at Ardmore today, presumably in preparation for the weekend. The Trojan was flying last week too for the first time in a long time, although I'm not sure if that will be there.

Ive just been chatting to one of the pilots at the airport...(fellow simmer)....he's in a formation of three Stearmans tomorrow

Had a sneak look of whats there now ...the two Seat Spit, both Kittyhawks, the Mustang...

It's raining here now but should clear up for the weekend..I guess Brendon's Spitfire won't be here until tomorrow as as its turning a bit IFR

Here's some quick snaps from my Phone from the carpark

I hope to see that double-bubble Spit fly on Sunday - every time I've set eyes on it, it's caught fire, or bent a prop, or something.
Darn, now I've probably put a jinx on it...

TVNZ says it was checker 1 and he was having a "engine problem". Glad to hear he landed safely though.. Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing, right? winkyy.gif
