Just to let you all know, Frank Parker will be down at Omaka for some test flying on Saturday.
An open day is happening on Saturday and the aeroplane will hopefully fly then.

This depends on weather and servicability as usual.

Here is a photo from the photo shoot in late December, the aircraft is looking great.

He won't be going that far south.
Test flights start overhead Omaka before he heads into the Awatere Valley where he can fly at higher altitude.
He flew two 1.5 hour flights today which was great.

Love having the aeroplane in our back yard.

Towards the end of each flight he headed to Woodbourne to do some circuits on the sealed runway and longer grass runways.

This Nieuport 11 is owned by Graham Orphan and will feature in an upcoming edition of Classic Wings.

Still have to pinch myself sometimes.
