Just been up to the airport in CCh, and parked near the Antartic depot is an Air China 747. It was too dark to get a photo, as I was there after sunset, but if anybody is around tomorrow morning, Wednesday, then there might be a good chance to get a few shots of it.
Not often that you see Air China in Christchurch!! Not often that you see a 747 there either.

Saw it this morning, shoulda taken a photo!! Mindu, light wasn't great with this godawful weather blowing through

Both accounts yeah , Chinese bigwig wanted a look at CHCH damage , would have been nice to see it as they stick with a more traditional scheme
