Hamilton ATIS?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if there is anywhere you can get a recording of the Hamilton ATIS thats
not bad quality, Im wanting to use if for a video.
I thought I would try just asking the Tower but decided here was a good place to start incase theres somewhere to download it.

-7d
-50mm L USM F/1.2
-70-300mm L USM IS f/4
-100-400mm L USM IS f/4.5
-24.105mm L IS USM F/4
-2x 580EX II Flash's
-Manfrotto Tripod

Probably better to ask the tower as your liable to get an ALPA Rep threatening to take you to court.

Hmm good point there, I do vagually remember something about not being able to broadcast that.
I will phone and ask the tower that, Im sure they shouldnt have an issue with the
use of the ATIS (weather info) cause theres no aircraft information recorded there and its updated so often by the time
its used it will be well out of date.

if it's like Rotorua you can ring the tower and listen to the ATIS over the phone through one of the numbered options. Rotorua only bought this in last month so not sure if HN is doing it.

This new phone system is being installed all over the country, I believe it's already running in HN and TG tower also.

yea they have had that in Tauranga for a few years now, I can remember calling that up ages ago. Its a good idea
it means you can listen to the ATIS without walking out to the hanger and climbing into the plane
