My knuckles were a little whiter than usual at the first and second circuit but managed to treat the rest of them like a normal circuit just compensating for the extra wind. Those AA-1C Grummans don't actually do too bad with the crosswinds. They have a demonstrated crosswind of 17 knots but they seems to still handle a little more just need to keep the power up to compensate.

Nice vid, well done with the landings!

I flew in and out of Ardy on Saturday arvo and saw a couple of real shockers whilst I was there!

Wait till a 03 crosswind with an easterly wind over the Hunuas, that's a bit of fun!

Ah so you would have seen a few curly landings then. What were you flying?

I'd like to say something more exciting, but I was just pinching ZK-TAN from AFS to pick up some mates from Whitianga. There were similar x-wind conditions there with the runway aligned 22/04.

Clever signature by the way!
