NZ Hurricane sold to France

I was reading the Otago Daily Times and saw the story that the Wanaka Hurricane has been sold to a French buyer. It will be a sad loss to Wanaka, but at least we were lucky to see it outside at Warbirds 2012.

Lucky enough to see it many times and even during its rebuild at Christchurch airport engineering base in the 90s .. least i have an owners manual biggrin.gif
