Has anybody been/going? I went on Thursday, but had to get back for work so left while they were doing the briefing, but managed to get a few snaps
Including this panorama (470kB)

I'm useless at naming planes unless they're glaringly familiar to me, or it's named.
Although this helps: http://www.caa.govt.nz/script/air_reg_query.asp

The Rock sponsored Extra 300S

Central Hawkes Bay Aero Club's Cessna 172 Skyhawk II

RNZAF Plane taking off, perhaps a trainer?

Close up of some sort of reverse winglet on the 172

These would've been fun to be in, rather twitchy I'd say, homebuilts according to what I can find online

Maybe not the 172 being so aerobatic....

The Rock Extra 300S landing

Anybody know what kinda plane is in these next two pictures?

All lined up

Goodness Gracious! Great balls of Fire!

The RNZAF one looks to be an AirTourer, not actually RNZAF but privately owned. (Model used before the current AirTrainer).

The biplanes are Pitts Specials, awesome little machines, but notorious for being difficult to handle.

The cessna lined up on the runway looks to be a 150 or 152, but I can't quite tell. They are fairly popular as the "a" or aerobat version. Quite capable little aero machines.

Not sure on the little pencil plane.

Edit: The last one is also a 150/152 not a 172 biggrin.gif

The aircraft in the two pictures you asked about is a Yak-50. TAA is a 152 Aerobat, I've flown it a few times at the RNZAC competitions.
