Crikey .. now who's going to be the first to put that to a A2A or WBS P-51 then , have the day off tomorrow .... unsure.gif maybe i could .. smile.gif ..... Now the question is .. who is this Elley-May ? .... not an old 'Beverley Hillbillies' fan was Graham smile.gif

Nah doesn't look like that Elly May shouldn't be hard to add to the already created paints for the Warbird sim or A@A models there is also another logo of some description a bit further back on the fuse will have to check that one out

Elley May is only on the port side but the logos shown in the next photo is on both sides

That would be fun to add to a DCS World P51 skin. The picture of the women would not be difficult to add to a skin as the photo is quite good. winkyy.gif

Suggestions are welcome before release? having some issues with size of nose art, and yet to re size font above engine outlets.

Yeah , i believe so to , carrying a logo not know to the type nor historical reference , the aircraft did carry a sudo 'Tiger' paint in the mid 1990s advertising the Singapore beer brand , this was pre VE day Memorial at Wigram , the paint was simply washed off months later ..

The marking on the starboard side is rank pennant denoting the rank of the pilot ..... i cant remember what that one is, but i think they were used by squadron leader rank and upwards. Still in use today, but not on aircraft , im pretty sure.

I see on the CAA aircraft register this aircraft is listed as a North American F-51D

I suspect you are right- The theme of the Omaka airshow was "The Yanks are coming". Its not the first time 'stang '15 has been dressed up for an airshow.
