There has been at least 6 Staggerwings with NZ connections. At the moment there is a late model Staggerwing with a glass cockpit (!) in NZ owned by the late Eric Hertz. Link in the above post. There is also a recently restored (in NZ) dark blue Staggerwing with a Australian reg in NZ but this may have recently gone to Australia.

Over the last 15 years or so the very similarly painted ZK MOE and ZK AMU were based in NZ but both have been sold overseas (one to Australia I think). As per Dougs post. At about the same time another very similar Staggerwing was (restored?) in NZ with a US reg which I believe is currently on a World tour. I have seen a pic somewhere of the 3 in formation in NZ.

Back in the 30s and 40s the Auckland Aero Club had a Staggerwing which ended up with the RNZAF during the war and eventually sold to Australia
