Was talking to a mate down at Palmie International today and says that a very Big Russian Helicopter is coming in the next few months for two weeks working around Ohakune.
Do we have anyone around that area who can tell us somes dates and exact location we can see it strut its stuff and be parked up?

Posted: Fri Jan 26, 2007 7:13 pmActually, I heard that they fly the boats over, look in the NZAA book (the big heavy one "Auckland Intl where NZ meets theworld" or whatever) Had a picture off the team america boat coming out of the freighter.

The boats are definately being flown out on an Antonov...trust me.

Posted: Tue Feb 13, 2007 4:44 pmWas given a tour around the team base on Saturday and was told they are taking the rigs out after training today and doing a big pack tomorow. He did tell us the date they were flying out but i cant remember
