Yeah! I stopped by to post the link... very gentle touchdown I thought, could've had a driver on board, quick release and just headed off.
The RAF used to rip-drop Landrovers from 20ft - no main chute, just the extractor.
Guess they ran out of Landies...

Funny to think the tail gate can lift the entire C130 20 ton payload ... nicely finished off with ya daisy cutter ... imagine being in the blast radius of that thing .. take the wrinkles outta ya face biggrin.gif

Course the dummy ride ... so uncomfortable ... I'd think that would be understated !

As with napalm being within 100s of metres of such a weapons blast would result in suffocation for those to close but outside the impact point because it uses up all of the oxygen.

BTW the Russian equivalent of the MOAB is the FOAB:

This thermobaric bomb is bigger than the MOAB.(which is no longer in service)

MOAB 11 ton TNT Blast yield
FOAB 44 ton TNT Blast yield

The MOAB was mistaken by an SAS patrol for a nuke during Desert Sheild/Storm and they put their NBC gear on.

Certainly would clear the wax out of your ears ... all troops issued with a second set of fatigues as that blast will rip the first set off laugh.gif
