That was awsome :D :D:D

although the 767 is mans most briliant creation the 757 is prety close to it, first fly over it must have had about flaps 20 gear down and was all of 20ft above the rwy before throteling up, pitching about 30 degress and banking to the east :P After two of them there was high speed fly overs, sooo awsome.

The C130 also did superb fly overs, those noisy little single prop aircraft doing formation were rather neat as well (what type of aircraft are they?) The C130 landed on rwy 03 them used reverse thrust to reverse all the way back to the threshold for t/o again! I was suprised how quickly it moved.

757 was just the best thow, hearing those engins powering up, also I saw it on friday fly over hagley park, with almost 90 degress of bank, imagine how much rudder would be required for that monuver so low!

Thanks for the information hamish, that was the first airshow iv ever been to, and it was great :plane:

oh james on the friday when 757 did practice display he finished displaying and then he flew out to selwyn and then came back for another display and i found out today why that was the co pilot could'nt handle the angles that the 757 was pulling up and banking round on and he was getting sick so they flew out to selwyn to flaten out abit lol i also filmed the display in hagley park when hercules flew over and drop the kiwi blue parachute team and the seasprite and iroqouis flew in together to pick them up yesterday on saturday and james did you see both displays today there was flying display at 11.00 am and 2.00pm the rest of the show was pretty boring and the mock battle at the end was'nt very good

yeah it was a good day the flying display was good but everything else i found was boring like the unimog tow and unimog camuflague competition and obstacle course and mock battle , the iroqouis took part in the mock battle it flew in once to drop off troops and it took like 5mins to unload all off them lol and at the end when it looked as if it had finished the herc came in and did a high speed past and then banked around and landed and taxied in fast with back door down and then the troops all ran on to the herc and then the herc taxied out fast and then took off and landed at nzch the end lol
