Does anyone know how the progress is coming along on the T-28 that had the landing gear failure at Ardmore some time back ?

I think it's under repair at Pionair at Ardmore, haven't seen anything online to suggest that it's flown again

It was in pretty good condition , I'm sure it would be just the cost of spare parts and maintenance thing and time.

I grantee, not that anything has been said but I don't think it would have been that bad. A few months work and a spot of paint and good as new. I read classic wings from time to time
its a small fortune to own any warbird even to buy a wreck that needs restoring. Currently there is a Harvard for sale $200,000. That is pretty cheap for a airplane when a late model 172
costs allot more.

That could cheap because engine overhaul (that is the pricey one) or airframe need attention course the operating cost is a lot higher.
