Nice to see the old lady doing her thing down in the southern ocean (NZ 1980) to see the southern lights last night.
Read about it on "stuff " and wrongfully assumed it was a 787..... but the lads assure me it was the old cougar. (ZK-NCG)

Marty the "Southern Lights" I got my Kaikoura UFO DVD back tonight .. watching it again , no wrong registrations to aircraft here , this 1978/79 , a recent 2009 presentation , only 30 minutes but it is good .. maybe its was ZK-UFO :D the 787 I means the lad's never seem to be wrong :wink2:

Not much gets past them ... and they saw it on flight radar ... so .... bloody sky spies. :rolleyes:
I must ... Must, post some of their pics on the photo forum ... I have them all on file, but just finding the time lately is so hard.

Dean , that is quite amazing footage B-) , the 767 out off Dunedin also would have had Dunedinites going crazy plane spotting added , not often you get one into that airport.
