Does anyone know how to shorten the bands on a normal AM/FM radio to allow me to listen to ATC?
I know it's possible I just don't know how

I was thinking about that in the car the other day, so many stations and nothing to listen to, I'd rather listen to ATC in the car

... If you can get a signal of it so close to the ground, hmmm...

I remember I used to be able to listen to the police comms on my car stereo once. No idea how to tune it- it just came like that

I know you can get band expanders for car stereos etc from dick smith's. Don't know if it will 'expand' enough. Might be worth checking out????

You could always buy a Uniden 72XLT from DickSmiths and hook it up to your car ariel and speakers!
