What would you Rather Fly?

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Postby ZKTOM » Wed Jul 04, 2007 1:44 pm

What plane would you rather fly for a career?

If I ever was a pilot i'd definitely fly for the USAF over Iraq, it would be way more fun than flying big heavy fat jumbos, then again people might like the idea of transporting people.

I would have this as a poll but I can't do them for some reason. :(

What do you people want to fly?

Yea I think I'd actually like to be US Navy flying off the carriers. Do they still operate the Grummen F14 Tomcats? That's the plane for me!

 PS. I can't start polls on Real World Aviation or Off-Topic either! What's going on?

Nah the F14 has gone. Its funny watching Top Gun now. None of the aircraft in the background are in service anymore. That films old!

I'd fly the 737-300 for:

Air New Zealand
Southwest
Any Australian or Oceanic airline that flies them

The 737-400 for:

Malaysia Airlines
QANTAS

The 737-700 for:
Virgin Blue

The 737-800 for:
Pacific Blue
Polynesian Blue
Virgin Blue

AS you will notice they are all 737's as I love 'em to me they are the best of the best.

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

Would have to be ARHT's new BK-117 B-2 unless PSART puts the 222B into retirement and gets a B430 or similar either way flying a full-time Rescue Helicopter here in NZ would be the ultimate can't say I have ever really wanted to be a Jumbo Flyer doing the same thing day in day out for me my flying job would have to have excitement and challenge to keep you wondering what the next jobs going to be.

I have already PM'ed you about this. After receiving a number of complaints from other users who were annoyed at all the large about of poll's being posted, I have temporarily disabled the option to allow their creation.

So would I. Real cutting art, state of the edge ( :P ) technology with long and medium haul capability.
Though maybe not next week, I'll wait for the problems get ironed out first.

I'm sure you all know what I would fly, and not just because a very similier thread poll has been run in the past.

North Atlantic in the 763, or the future 763 "replacement", 788/9. Don't care what airline, don't care if the pays cr@p, just as long as the aircraft has wings and the FAs are nice. B-)

People must be sad if they complain about polls why not just not look in the post.

for me it would be a top dresser, rescue chopper pilot, or herc pilot, all have some challenge to them, i love challenge!!
In the ongoing battle between objects made of aluminum going hundreds of miles per hour and the ground going zero miles per hour, the ground has yet to lose.
