especially when i'm studying the ruapehu volcanic region in geography!!

Cool! I wish it was a bit of a bigger erruption though, something more exciting would have been interesting to see on the news.

Oh well, apparently pilots are reporting a volcanic ash cloud up to 15,000feet however it dosn't seem to show on fs real world weather:

Two eruptions in the space of around 6-8 months. If we have anymore we could have a proper, lava eruption on our hands.
Now that'd be cool.

untechnically, Ruapheu just burbed, the boffins are not sure if there will be any more or not, they said in todays paper that they classed it as an out of the blue eruption, i.e. no warning signs.
