Hi all!

If you've been meaning to come to Blenheim and pay a visit to the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre, and haven't as yet, then a) SHAME ON YOU!!! tongue.gif and 2) October is the right month to!!!

Thanks to Allan Scott Wines, a whole new exhibit based around four of the Fokker Dr.I Triplane replicas is now installed in the AHC, and is open for viewing at NO EXTRA COST. In addition, there will be special deals on Fokker merchandise (hats, shirts, kits etc) and, so I'm told, you can buy fabric patches as well! So you too can have an Iron Cross or fuselage patch on your wall. Until Saturday there's also a modelling competition - I'm in it, so watch out!!!

The aircraft are Manfred von Richtofen's all-red machine, his brother Lothar's one with the yellow tail and top wing, Eberhardt Mohnicke's blue-tailed bird, and Werner Steinhauser's highly eye-catching yellow and red aeroplane.

Apologies for the poor lighting, but I;ve only got a basic wee cam. Even better reason to come and see it for yourself!

If you *are* intending on visiting Blenheim and Omaka, by all means get in touch and I'll show you around!

SEE YOU THERE
