Picture thanks to Andrew in the Dan's repaint post (just thought this should get another topic to the Dan's repaint one)

Does anyone know why this is in New Zealand? Or for how long? Is it just being leased?
I was lucky enough to fly back from Auckland home to Christchurch tonight on this bird. Very roomy though the seats aren't all that comfortable - mine was a bit creaky.. laugh.gif
What was most odd was we were lightly loaded but only flew to Christchurch at 30000ft.. (perhaps due to nasty weather)

I've heard it was a leased to ANZ as thanks for their maintenance unit at Auckland severing the Thomsonfly 767's this year- and it is just hear for the summer holiday season to help with the increased load with domestic traffic.

heard it was leased to help cover short term extra demand

it was flogging up and down the country at lower levels the other day due to an airconditioning fault - also, apparently the accars equipment is pretty old or not working as well , I had to pass the wx the old fashioned way - by reading it out.
