Found this cool photo on stuff.co.nz

The US Air Force has released a picture of one of their C130 Hercules aircraft using a dramatic rocket-assisted take off in Antarctica last week.

That looks like some pretty extreme slope on that runway, unless the camera is tilted.

Cool pic Trolly, wonder what the condition of the runway is when he's gone?

In other Antarctic news, the aussies have landed an Airbus A319 down at their base for the first time ever.
