Interesting read. Heck, I might have to go up to Auckland to see one. The Emirates livery fits the A380 great in my opinion.
And they are getting 58 of them!?

Ah you are waay too honest!
My sim has been running ANZ 787's for yonks, and all the A380 orders are long filled!![]()
On a slightly sobering note - I hope the airports are doing more than building up a slightly taller gate.
The other night we met an outgoing A320 and 767 queue at Sydney, and it took 2 hours to check in.
That represents only 70% of an A380 hit.
Can you imagine if a 747 and one of those crossed customs queues...

I am planning to travel on this flight sometime next year. I wounder what sort of J product they will have![]()
Good news for New Zealand aviation- I was unsure how long it would take for this to happen, but looks like AKL will be in the Top 10![]()
This was always going to happen, its great news, I would EXPECT it to go on the Sydney route first and doesnt suprise me that they would add a flight. I am flying as early as jan next year to sydney but it could be in feb or march, so i am definitely planning so i can see and fly on the A380
