This was pretty amazing. I'd hate to be in control of 200-odd people's lives in a situation like that, but then I guess you're not really the one in control..

Well, exactly...it's not the kind of thing humans can do.
But the machines can.
Ask any heavy airline pilot how much actual flying he has to do, and the answer is: Very little.
But would you fly in a remotely piloted, or autonomous vehicle?
