I'm currently working on a new repaint for the PAI ATR-72 in Air New Zealand Link colors and I really need a photo of the right side backdoor (the side w/o the cargodoor).

There is some different marks and signs on it, but I can't find any pictures of the end of the plane on the right side. And therefore I can't finish the repaint.

So are you going to make some spotting the coming weekend or do you have a picture of the right side end (with the backdoor) then I would be very happy, since it's the last thing I need to get the paint done.

If you have a picture or would like to take one, then let me know in a PM then I'll give you my email adress so you can send the picture to me. You will ofcourse be mentioned in the readme.

Thanks for the help.

Hi Guys! I had a quick break and snapped these today. The ATR looks pretty similar on both sides at the back - the only exceptions I could find was that the passenger door had an Air NZ NPC emblem next to it and the doors themselves differ slightly in appearance - but thats with my 'untrained' eyes. I'm sure you repainters out there will tell me what I'm missing. Anyways....... these are reduced size for the uploading - PM me and I can email you the originals (About 1.5mb each).

The ATR is self explanatory, the Vincent B1900 is an interesting story. I spied it in the Eagle Air hangar getting some quick maintenance, with the Helicopters NZ emblem on the side. Apparently its off overseas for 6 months charter flying - Myanmar in Burma I think the pilot said.

Hope they help - if I've missed something out or you want a better shot just let me know. Best regards,
Mat

Yep, VAE is off to Myanmar for an HNZ contract flying between the capital Yangon and Sittwee. Not sure why she was in Hamiltron, she left Wellington last night for Auckland I thought? She's looking pretty nice at the moment with new carpets and new leather seats wub.gif

WOW. Nice. Excatly waht I needed. I might make a complete fleet package. And maybe I'll ask WOAI to include it in a package if they'll ever make a package for ANZ Link.

Excellent! Glad I could help. I'm looking at having a go at some basic scenery design for FS9 and FSX and producing a photoreal Hamilton airport. A nice looking ATR for AI would match perfectly! If you do want the higher res photo's just PM me an email address and I can forward them on to you.

from working on the atrs, the differences between the two doors are quite big, the cargo door on the right is alot smaller, and hinges to the front, where as the rear passenger door on the left drops and acts as steps as well, the right hand door has the usual door opening marks ( how to operate the handle,) handle arrows and a red exit sign above the vent towards the middle of the door,

hope this has shed a little light on to what is in the pics
and if you need any more info, i might be able to help you out, espically on the likes of the metros, banderanties, saabs and ATRs
