Yea I have seen this page not long ago some strange aircaft there and some I havent heard of (Boeing B-15? - looks like a B-17 that ate too much) but what is so rare and or weird about a Lockheed P-80 Shooting Star or a P-47N Thunderbolt?

the XB15 .. the wings where basiclly a Boeing 314 .. many good photos , I did like the Dominators , backup if the 29s failed .. every country had it wicked designs that could have shined .

It just nice to look at the photos without the read .. look and study , as you said Bazza must be something here for the historian .. thought , i do have a photo off that model plane here somewere ! good little post Jas smile.gif

btw Wasn't the prototype p-51 armed with 20mm's?As it was the A-36 apache before the mustang as we know it. smile.gif plane.gif
