Aerobatics in that?? Its to heavy with the turbine up front. An edge 540 could out run that easy in aerobatics

turbines....heavy?? huh.gif maybe slower in power response time, but certainly not heavier than piston engines for the same HP, hence why they are mounted further forwards (weight and balance).

Do the maths... 750 SHP, 1600lb (roughly 700kg) winkyy.gif

Add a nice paddle bladed prop and you have tons more thrust available than any 540... infact, using Beta mode could result in some extended down-lines for even more fun!

whathesaid.gif in the Trivia Quiz deane asked...... Which aircraft type, of which there are still types flying in NZ, featured an ash tray above the panel ?
Pre-flight checks included emptying the ash tray before aerobatic flight. hence that this a/c is aerobatic
i said.....is it the piper Cherokee 140 deane? haha he said....... I don't think Mr Piper intended his planes to be aerobatic !! haha
