Sleep in a 747

Found some more details about the new hostel that will open inside an old 747 200 now parked at Stockholm Arlanda ARN airport. They now have a website in English, and it is due to open in December. Interesting idea, and might be worth checking out if anyone is in the area.

What is of most interest is the COCKPIT SUITE:-

The cockpit suite
Do you want to stay the night in the cockpit of a jumbo jet? Then go to the Jumbo Hostel at Arlanda. Here, the aircraft’s cockpit has been converted into a de luxe suite with parts of the original interior saved as curiosities. From the suite’s panoramic windows you have a magnificent view of the air traffic at Arlanda.



So we can both stay in the cockpit AND watch the air traffic!!!
