Did Auckland open it's further development to the international terminal?

I read that in a magazine today...

Does anybody have any pictures?...

Since British Airways has left Terminal 4, upgrades are now starting to make the airport more, I guess you could say, "friendly"

by the way flights to SYD(via BKK&SIN) are still operated from T4. And mostly reason for upgrade is not moving BA, that is Olympics

They've just built a wing (Pier B) out the right end of the main pier building, that goes along in a L shape next to the taxi rank and rental car carpark by the International Arrivals main door.

There are two new gates, #15 and #16, as seen here when the A380 arrived:

I'm guessing you may mean T5 at Heathrow? That opened back in March and had major issues on it's first week- something like 30,000 bags went missing and 500 or so flights were canceled due to faulty IT systems and poorly trained staff there- however, now it's all running smoothly and British Airways (the sole user of the terminal) ran a massive ad campaign with images like this placed all over the London Underground:

Most of them say something like 'The average time for a passenger waited to recieve thier bag yesterday at T5 was: 16 minutes'.

Not sure if anything is wrong with T4, I flew in and out from T3 when I visited and everything ran smoothly- no baggage checks or bio security once you've picked your luggage of the carousel like in Auckland- you just walk straight out to the arrivals hall and jump on a bus.

When we came back from Aussie in August they had opened the new duty free and passport checking area. And put in that travelator thingy that goes from the old part of the terminal to the new in arrivals. They hadn't opened the new pier completely then but I know they have now. Can anyone tell me if they've upgraded the baggage uplifting area yet?

Yeah that's been around since we came back from Raro in April- just the new upstairs section on the main pier A.

Also, I thought you said that you yourself were heading back to England in the 'Where are you off to these holidays' thread, or did that trip get canceled?

Haha. In Hanoi they seemed to only put two-three bags on the carousel at any one time. We waited 20 mins easily! (after we had got off the flight and gone through customs.
