It's less than a week away and surprisingly I havn't heard a peep about the upcoming WoW (featuring a flying Spitty for the first time) mentioned here!
There must be at least one NZFF'er attending the show- unfortunaltly I can't get myself down to Hood this time around, but I expect to see plenty of pics posted online from other members! biggrin.gif

I live across the road, so I'll be there Trolly!
Also was able to obtain a media pass this time around, so hopefully I should be able to post plenty of pics for ya.

For all those coming from all around NZ and elsewhere hope you enjoy the show biggrin.gif

Yup I'm gonna be there! Wouldn't miss the opportunity to drool over (possibly) two Spitfires...though I'm a bit concerned about not being able to find much progress news on Brendan Deere's Mk IX - the organisers of Wings told me as long ago as April that it was meant to be there, and they've even listed in on the website, but given that it was meant to have made it's first flight in November, and the restoration team's website still makes no mention of that having happened... :/

Don't believe the Corsair has been flying, may have taxied around though.
Keith Skilling (Corsair Pilot) turns up tomorrow I think, so could fly anytime after that, and is definitely booked in for two practice runs on the Friday.

I'll be there Saturday! And yes, I foresee the return of my NZFF shirt to an airshow field! Looking forward to seeing all those black shirts!

I'll not want to be moved whilst the displays are on, but perhaps the "musical interlude" at 1150hr would be a good time for a meet? Mind you, I'll be there from around 0900 and it'd be great to have some folks to tag along with! BTW you can check out the programme at WoW's site: http://www.wings.org.nz/programme.shtml

Yup, I'm excited tongue.gif

Hey guys, I got a pleasant surprise last night when I got home. I just found out I won the Mustang flight over Wellington alongside the Spitty. I've never won anything before! Hope to catch up with some of you guys on Saturday.

Aw bummer, I was looking forward to that one! haha

Congrats! And I agree with FlyingKiwi.

Kittyhawk and Corsair were running through there routines just before - looking sharp.

Other than that not too much been happening, most things will proabably show up tomorrow sometime I'd imagine.

Great, ZK-WDQ, star of the show, has belly-landed apparently. Feck. That sucks.
