This was on the world news front page of the Dominion Post yesterday:

A Colombian police DC-3 plane is seen split in two after an explosion which left 8 police officers injured as they boarded the plane at the Olaya Herrera Airport in Medellin, Antioquia Department, Colombia on February 18, 2009. I expect those injured were sat at the front,when it exploded they all rolled out onto the tarmac !

You'd have to say foul play must be on everone's minds with this.

Just a hunch - the words Police & Colombia - almost hand in hand with drugs & crime.

A really sad end to an elegant workhorse.

I'm keen to hear the rest of the story?!

The Dominion Post article said that for now the cause is believed to be a hand grenade that went off in one of the officers' luggage. I read it a few days ago, they had some witty pun about exploding bags as the headline
