Hi all

Direct from the ITL Aviation website, here's what our favourite green and grey aeroplane will be doing on ANZAC Day in the lower North Island.

"On ANZAC Day Spitfire Alpha Lima will follow the following schedule (subject to aircraft serviceability, weather and ATC requirements):
Take off Ohakea 1020
Palmerston North 1030
Feilding 1033
Sanson 1035
Bulls 1036
Marton 1038
Aramoho Cemetery 1044
Wanganui 1046
Wanganui Airport 1050
Depart Wanganui Airport 1130"

Pilot will be Sqn Ldr Sean Perrett, who flew a great display at Omaka in Harvard 15. His day job is flying King Airs with 42Sqn, so this must be a very nice change for him!

Was tremendous, absolutely tons of people came out to see her. Sadly no pics from me as I seem to have left the battery charger in Blenheim! Argh! Hopefully Derek got a few shots.

Many thanks to Brendon Deere for making this magnificent lady available for everyone to see, and to Sean Perrett for his flying today.

Looking forward to your shots Derek, the flames at startup were very impressive!

We had the same at Renwick. Yes they are louder in colder denser air - i.e. this morning.

Superb shots Derek!

I was with my dad most of the time, hung out with a couple of Aero Work guys for a wee while but otherwise just enjoyed the experience on my own.

Another video, this time of one of the flybys http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIZElYFR0bU

Yep, he wants to be a pilot.

My 6 yr old girl is the one though. can't keep her away. She's a Chopper nut. Went flying in a R44 of WAW with Owen a while a go. He reckons he's never seen a girl with such a smile ear to ear. Steep turns and all.

Both fly FSX and can land the 172 with ease.

I better start saving now for massey.

Heres a couple more of the approach.

And here's Ivan Warmington been shown arround, EX RAF pilot and my old A cat instuctor. Retired half way through my CPL course in 85'.
What a pilot, Langcasters and Mosquito's mainly. Was also the queens pilot for a while before settling in WU.

Awesome Aero's instructor too.
