I've got a simular application on my Ipod Touch where I can log my hours- always worth having a backup, although I'm sure how of the legality of it without signatures and NZ CAA rules?

One of my mates who has 100+ hours lost her log book when moving house and had to start from scratch- lots of hard work and $$$ down the drain sad.gif

Its legal if you maintain a hard copy aswell. I have a pretty sophisticated excel logbook with all kinds of stats etc which I use with my paper one smile.gif

LogShare...

You can add custom columns... and hide the 'American' ones... my one looks all nice and NZCAA-like now tongue.gif

Its free, you can setup specific aircraft (if they're not already there), so they are selectable from dropdowns... and you can get all sorts of reports and stats... and you can export it out in .csv if you need to...

works for me and is nice to have a 'backup'... I've also been looking at Logbook Pro... as you can get a little PDA app, so you can enter the data there and sync it back to the PC later... bit pricey tho...

Currently on a 'home-made' Access logbook (work in progress) after 4 iterations of various Excel logbooks. Access is very powerful and has a lot of potential (same as Excel), slowly learning how to use it. When I get a Mac I'm keen on Log Ten Pro. A few of the guys at work have it.
