And after the high reserve, be prepared for the insane insurance premium and burning a tank of gas in 200km around town laugh.gif

Not bad, though in all fairness its not worth bugger all (relatively speaking of course)...
Its nothing special, just an E class Merc thats 9 years old with a baby V8 - if it was an AMG or Brabus tuned one, then yeah dig those pockets deep happy.gif

Good solid set of wheels if you're into covering long-ish distances in comfort - the entire chassis and suspension platform is used on the Chrysler 300C's under the Daimler-Benz/Chrysler/Mitsubishi partnership

Yip but its still a Merc and people pay money for a brand.
$12000 is pretty good considering you can get Jap imports for more than that in similar condition.

$18,000's still pretty cheap for what it is. Dad's car would probably be of similar value and he bought it for $25k, and that was a good price!

You're right, the AMG version of that, the E55, is about the ultimate 'wank-mobile' to me.
But the only problem is there are a lot of dickheads in cars like that that get all us younger drivers blamed. Just because your 1989 Integra has a Milo can exhaust doesn't mean you're a driving god. laugh.gif

I'd rather have a Euro (Like a mate's Alfa 33 which I'd buy if I wasn't saving up for bloody flying laugh.gif ) and avoid that stereotype somewhat.

Yer most of the Euros are nice cars.
I notice theres a lot of idiots driving Nissan Skylines and other Jap imports, usually with all sorts of rubbish mods on them.
There's some bad drivers out there in some really nasty looking cars.
