Wellington Accommodation suggestions ?

I'm looking for somewhere cheap n cheerful for a group of 6-7 people for the end of October - somewhere around the Hutt Valley would be ideal as we arrive over the Rimatukas and need to be in Upper Hutt the next morning, although for the right sort of cheap n cheerful a bit of travel isn't a problem.

Can anyone recommend somewhere in the holiday park cabin price bracket ? I've already got Hutt Park on the list.

Cheers
Gary

What about Harcourt Park motor camp?

It's in Upper Hutt, on the Akatarawa road which is just off the Rimutaka Hill road as you come into Upper Hutt.

They have cabins etc, you would have to contact them for prices.

Regards,

Bob.

I'll certainly keep it in mind, but looking at their website they don't have anything that would sleep 7 people.

Thanks for the pointer smile.gif

biggrin.gif biggrin.gif I checked their website out yesterday morning, their bunk rooms seem like they would do the job but there are no prices and no email link and the enquiry form was broken. Ringing them is on my to-do list for today smile.gif

Cheers
