Wait for it, this is something extremely rare. And it's not fake...

Holy CR@P!!! I thought I was watching a blue/green screen fake there for a second.......... I've got the Phoenix RC sim and the start looked like similar scenery....... until the Pitts came smoking through!! Scary but entertaining!! clapping.gif Incidentally, there's a 300ft altitude limit on the Hamilton Model Aero Club flying site out of Collins Road - but I once received a complaint from an aircraft that they had a near miss with a large RC aircraft around 1000ft!!! The culprit was a well-known Kiwi RC pilot test flying a new 41% scale Raven (Weighing 18kg and with a wingspan of over 3m!!!)

From the commentary, it would appear it was a communication error. Feel for the guy that had his $8k RC totalled, but glad also that no one was hurt. Wonder if there were any legal after-effects? You know how the yanks can be when their blood is up - litigious as anything! ohmy.gif ninja.gif
