Very Random Question

A forum for everything else that does not fit into the other categories

Right, here's a completely random query. smile.gif
I enjoy collecting the physical media (i.e. CD's) of bands that I enjoy, and long story short....I've been hunting for this extremely rare and elusive one for a while.

Does anyone know of any way someone in the United States can get their hands on this?

Conditions of Sale (non negotiable):
- Delivery is via CourierPost Track&Trace - Signature required
- If items are found to be unavailable; we will offer a full refund

Details:
The auction is apparently only up for 7 or 8 more hours from now (current NZ time 4:45pm, Aug 16) and is only available to Australia or New Zealand residents. There is also no way to query the auction's sponsor or the website about the possibility of international (US) shipping since I can't even register.

Is this one out of my hands, or does someone know of a way to get what is probably the only publicly available CD from this band left in the world to US shores?

Side note: The band has disbanded and given up the contents of this CD for free...but as I said, I collect the rare stuff, and an official CD from this group would be pretty cool!

I have been known to respond to the odd random question and I have purchased it using my Trade me account.
I have sent you a PM.
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

I didn't see this until 2 minutes after the auction closed (hows that for timing!) but the winning bidder's name looks awfully familiar ..... smile.gif Well done Mr Patz, exactly what I would have done if I'd been there sooner.

Prior to the PM communications, I'll just say publicly that that is above and beyond what I expected!
I simply cannot thank you enough!

I'll be in touch through a few PMs. smile.gif
