What an odd day ..... i finished up a 3 year contract today. After decending 18 flights of scaff stairs for the last time .... i put my bloody back out again sad.gif
Said goodbye to all the crew and went home.
When i got home , there was a guy standing on my front step ..... it was Greg ! (Scaber) i had to explain , i was in pain , and needed a lie down asap.
He was good (cheers Greg) turns out he was out walking , and passed by my humble abode ... and .... saw the wee red toyota ( i have 3 ) and thought i was home .... but i was about 5 mins after that .... arghhh , its to odd to explain, and Im sure your interested ... not.

Anyway Greg , had i have been home and in one piece , you would have been most welcome.

I think its amazing that most of the NZ members seem to be within a short walking/bus ride distance of each other!

New Zealand is a much smaller place than I thought it was!.... ohmy.gif ...!

Henry Cole, on the Travel TV series; "Worlds greatest motorcycle rides", did the North Island tour on his Harley 48, in just one hour!.... cool.gif ...!

I hope you are feeling better Marty...you seem to be suffering in all sorts of ways!!

Paul..... biggrin.gif ...!

Marty, sounds like you need a couple of weeks in one of those pool-side bars in Fiji... or is it bar-side pools? Winter still has a bit to go, so don't worry about another job at the moment, just get on that plane...

Good on you Foz, I like your type of slant on life...

Henry also did most of the Australian outback, coast to coast America, and a session at the Bonneville saltflats, also all in one hour segments.
I think he must have sussed out my attention span...? biggrin.gif

Its a regular mountain bike ride out to the airport 12/15 minutes, from my home out to West Melton, Ricks place is only 40/45 minutes .. when you look at it the NZ is probably bigger than the UK, in my proximity I know going on 20 plus flight simmers who stop here regular, it is a small world . cool.gif

I've watched all of Henry's various Motorbike escapades, including the Ozzy ones, NZ ones, European ones, and the classic American ones, which have now got me yearning for a nice Yamaha XVS Dragstar vee-twin!

Henry's trips down US Route 1, East and West Coast, Rout 66, and the desert runs, on the Saxon Choppers, I found fascinating!

Wonderful experience, riding motorbikes...keeps you young!
...been doing it, every day for 65 years now!

Paul...Meep-meep.... biggrin.gif ....!

A strange day, back-aches, and motor-bikes...its all there, somewhere... biggrin.gif ....!

Just watching Henry touring the NZ South Island on the travel channel, riding a lovely Harley Davidson 48...with a red tank!
