Here's another one transforming....

Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Neither did i Ian ..... i agree , it is cool. Guess that's how they stack them on those little USMC carriers.

Not sure Marty. This was taken early in the test program and I am sure they had a few fatalities at the start.

There was a classic shot 'clip' in a TV series called "TEST PILOT" .. it was a auto-rotation in a Huey that went seriously wrong breaking the tail boom off - thus all hell broke loose, the energy of the rotor took over , everyone survived but ya scratch your head wondering how they did !
