Do you know what....

....I've spent the past 15+ years of my life, every day, Sim-Flying the whole of the USA, East to West, North to South, reading their daily news, watching documentaries and police videos, observing their mixed society and their attitude towards each other, their total fascination with guns of every type, and their absolute paranoia of just about everything; that I'll tell you what, I adore all their magnificent scenery from the air or the side of the road, but the thought of actually encountering their folks on the ground scares the heeby-jeebies out of me!

A very unstable, insecure, mixed society, from my regular observations....Black, White, Hispanic, etc. Falling apart with Drugs and Booze...

Paul....enjoying exploring California...from the safety of the air!

Paul , It really is a mixed bag , personally anywhere you go and specific Asia you have to be Very very careful, I think one off the best thing about media is showing exactly what examples you may run into, and area's, UNLESS ! you have the balls to walk into, ya don't go there areas.

I love the USA for .. hells bells were do I start, .. The ability to change seasons or stay with them as the seasons change .... REAL SANTA stuff santa_cool.gif ....... Just, Ive never been there yet ?

Hello Ian...

My fascination with the USA started with Flight Unlimited II/III, ProPilot '99, etc, and Microsoft Flight Sims FS '98 onwards!
With each new version, the scenery became more realistic and encouraged me to explore it in great detail with the assistance of Wikipedia and Google Satellite Maps, local daily news, You-Tube videos, etc, to the point that I am now addicted to it!
All this reveals the truly wonderful, diverse scenery; but the daily USA newscasts that get e-mailed to me each day, also reveals the dark underbelly of the USA society!
Fortunately, it doesn't detract me from daily exploring the truly magnificent scenery to be viewed....
..I spend many hours watching the You-Tube Videos of the various Harley-Davidson tours through the scenery of various States*...

...with nary a single shot being fired!

Paul.....The Intrepid Explorer.... biggrin.gif ....!

* ....You-Tube Videos 1 to 10...>>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NnBtUQ1Tto

..plus loads more, to enjoy the very best of the USA!

Each day I fly from San Francisco International (KSFO), crossing the 'Frisco Bay and avoiding all the rape and pillage and constant gunfire eliminating from the residents of Oakland (KOAK) down below, as I pass over to Livermore (KLVK) and the California Central Valley beyond, and all the time admiring the highly realistic scenery gradually evolving before me.....

...all the time fearing bullet holes on my fuel tanks!

And a tour through the Los Angeles Valley (KLAX) scenery is equally exciting, whilst ignoring the road traffic...and the bullets...!

Paul.... laugh.gif ...!
