Yeah, have had a few trips in the past to Northern and Southern CA, and to Oregon and over to Florida. She's a diverse place the good old USA. And that's only scratching some of the edge of two coasts.

I saw a Dornier 328 at Avalon 2001 when it was doing the world tour , would have been an ideal type for the small sectors around NZ rather the 1900s , one thing I did think they are a snazzy looking machine and performance to suit .

...although I do worry a bit about some of the inhabitants who reside there..... ....

..there is no doubt that the USA does contain some truly breath-taking scenery, especially in the West, and Mid-West!

I spend ages on You-Tube, watching Harley-Davidson tours of those areas, and then getting into my trusty Flight Sim Cessna 150 Aerobat with various Maps, and touring those same areas close to ground level!

I just wish that we had that sort of scenery in Great Britain, to enjoy my regular Motor-bike rides!.... ....

...Route 66 from Albuquerque to Barstow, via Flagstaff, Kingman, Oatman, etc.....Monument Valley, Death Valley, Owen's Valley, magnificent scenery, the likes that we don't get over here!

Highway 1 from 'Frisco to Santa Monica....following the Pacific Coast...

I close my eyes, and imagine I am there!

Paul....Cruisin' the Deserts.... :D ...!
