Fittingly the truck (Bedford?) that removed it seems to be even older than the aircraft :)

YEP that is a 1960s Bedford ... lets hope they don't try and set fire to the F/Glass replacement , that's what happened at NZCH Brevet club rooms with the spitty in the stick.

I remember when they were used .. very powerful tractor unit s hauling gear/cargo out off the Maori and Wahine at Lyttleton in the late 60s.
