Time goes by

Postby Splitpin » Fri Oct 21, 2016 8:22 pm

2 years today since the old man passed away .... seems like more than that.
Strange , when they go ... you try to hang onto the memories , but they start to fade faster than you can remember.
I guess that's life , if we were able to just stop and dwell it may be different , but life moves on , and I think they do as well.
Anyway ....maybe a glass too many for the memory of the old man tonight .... hence this vague post.... sorry.

Marty I guess, with me never had truly close family other than pets 'Marsbar' , biggest thing is your still thinking about them so that really carry's a lot weight, the other way to look at it without realizing , outsiders like me who never met him seriously appreciate the gifts he left , 'The Marty's Dad's Marvelous Lawnmower' to the 'Pilot notes' and such, even without meeting him even I have met him .

I'm pleased, one dose get those down days thinking to much about it ... It is great to have people thinking about the others who we not even met before , even only through silly messages or the things given.
