Hi I have been trying to track down a Skymax model of the RNZAF strike master for sale.

I had a serious look, I have the diecast 1/72 RNZAF Harvard , this was imported and worth around $100NZ .. the livery pop out then when sold don't see then for a few years , the AT-6 come from www.hobbymaster.com.hk .

The Harvard is a very nice model and love it in the red and Gray. I am a big fan of the Strike master I thought you never know your chances.

The far cheaper choice would be the 'Matchbox' plastic kitset brand , you would have to by the paint and the glue and modeling tools ... something you would always use later on, course the fun of putting it together.

Your right there and I do enjoy the building but no I am after the diecast version

The Strikemaster is quite different when jump in the cockpit, even the weight of the canopy was impressive, the panel appeared to be pretty basic being spilit for the side by side pilot/trainee arrangement.

You mean 'Blunty' .. simply the nickname given to it for the shape of the nose , I do believe it was started by RNZAF ground staff and crews in the mid 1970's.

That makes sense, I have tried contacting Hobby Master to do a Ct4e in the Red checkers scheme. I must admit I like the new Texans but still have a soft spot for the Red Checker aircraft
