Actually looking at the wingtips above is Laugh Out Loud stuff.
You have to watch this again and again, from different viewpoints, and then yet again.

Thanks for the post, better than sweltering in the hot Wanaka sun?? Not
I was down there last week - stupid timing - didn't see the Vipers at NZCH, didn't see the Catalina on the lake.
Hope Mike brings back good pics...

Charl , no problem.
I cant afford a Wanaka trip this year but will be at Omaka next year, and in my opinion, a better show.
I wonder if the organizers of that can secure the USAF or RAAF for 2 days ... worth a shot.
Imagine ...Fokker Triplanes to start, and ending with an F-16 or F-18 ...and everything in between.

Re the Blue Angels clip ... it's not just precision is it .... its extreme skill, the pinnacle of flying.
How do they adjust for turbulence when that close? and things like the sun in your eyes at certain points .... what if you sneeze?
120% impressed, and like you ...I've watched it over and over.
