Thai kids in the cave

Postby Splitpin » Sun Jul 08, 2018 8:22 pm

I see the rescue has started , up to 18 divers are going to try and swim these kids out...real heroes.
I can't begin to imagine what the parents are going through .... sending prayers.
Makes almost everything else , for me at least seem like like fluff.

Yes, four out without problems, let's hope that it just continues that way. I've been in 'grandfather' mode since this happened, I normally shed a few tears watching the news each night -- and yeah, I can't help imagining what if it was one of my kids or grandkids.

I did the PADI course years ago.
Diving relies on 100% situational awareness.
How they are doing it there defies description.
And taking off a tank so you can fit through a passageway underwater gives me the shakes.

The coach... might elect to stay in his cave, and meditate as the storms roll in.
