Pleased to report that Doug and Mary arrived in chc at 2100hrs on the Coastal Pacific .... and looking very well indeed.
Dropped them off at the old jail accommodation, and will pick them up again the morning. Didn't want to bother them too much tonight , so maybe a coffee in the morning.

Cheers Mike, picked them up again this morning ....but again not much time to spare sadly.
Managed to snap a pic with the big guy himself ^_^

Dougydude looks a bit blurry sorry..... phone screen is shattered. Would have preferred my mug to be out of focus ^_^

Thanks Nick ...it is indeed better than a kick to the nads.
Just hope I look as good as the big guy in 20 years .... seems to me, that "oldies", these days with an interest, seem to outlast those that dont.
80 is the new 60....which makes me feel good ^_^
