International Woman's day

Postby Splitpin » Fri Mar 08, 2019 9:30 pm

Not sure what I was supposed to do, so I did nothing except mention it to a couple of Female Coworkers...who didn't really know how to reply, which made me think.

One asked me when was "mens day" ...I didn't know, I guess Fathers day is as close as we will get....and Im sure the term "Father" is up for reclassification.

I know we have a ministry of woman ....(Minitatanga mō ngā Wāhine) headed by Julie Anne Genter, an American born Green party member, but I'm dammed if I can find the ministry of (for ) men.
Maybe my browser is out of date, so if you know, and could direct me, I would appreciate it.

The one thing I'll say is, for woman to succeed doesn't mean men have to lose. Or rather it's not an attack on men.
I used to get defensive about it because that's how I viewed it.
