I guess there are Half Moon Bays all over the world, much like Spaghetti Junctions.
And in SF I might have been less surprised to find a Sea Harrier on someone's back lawn.
But this one is in Auckland???
I'd love to know the story.

Fair enough, but it's been sitting in that backyard for a decade.
The owner apparently has not tired of it, and that's the part that interests me.
Apart from being spotted being offloaded from a barge, there doesn't seem to be any info on who the Harrier enthusiast might be, and what drove him to plant it.
